The Hut sleeps two people very comfortably with open plan accommodation.

It has a large well behaved wood burning stove with a basket of logs and german clay core thermostatic radiators for the cooler months.

Comfy furnishings, reclaimed scaffold floor boards, thick curtains for the long winter nights, in daylight outside, tables and chairs to take in the breath taking views rain or shine.

The kitchen area has a 1930’s cream original solid fuel Aga, great for leaving slow casseroles in, drying damp clothes and throwing out warmth. For the faint hearted a modern electric Kitchenaid oven and induction hob! Also found here are the washing machine and the dishwasher. Downstairs also houses the bathroom. This includes a loo, wash hand basin, free standing bath and power shower.

Climb upstairs to a large comfortable King size bed in the eaves, a dressing area in the other mezzanine to prepare in comfort to venture out to one of the superb foodie restaurants 3-5 miles away for a special supper to remember, or for a drink in a local country pub to inhale the atmosphere.

We try to cater for all weathers, wet days the views are still terrific, with a huge selection of books to enjoy whilst curled up by the fire. Tables and chairs on the veranda undercover, follow the afternoon and early evening sun barbecuing al fresco, unwind utterly – watching the wildlife; deer, pheasant and buzzards to name a few…watching you!

There is Wi-Fi and incoming calls can be taken. It is a place of natural beauty, lovingly built by the owners of the nearby small holding. Parking is easy, with room to keep a boat whilst staying.

Dogs by arrangement, as long as they are not left alone in the property or allowed on the furniture or bed. Secure, unkempt garden for your dog to go out last or first thing – before their proper walk a little later!

It is a place of seclusion and peace with unspoilt rural views, yet only four miles from the Jurassic Coast and seaside resorts of both Lyme Regis and Charmouth, so the best of both worlds!
